By purchasing from ziziphin.com, you agree to these terms. Ziziphin is operated as a sole proprietorship (PFA) based in Romania.

Products

All items are handmade and unique. Colors may vary slightly from photos due to screen settings and the nature of handmade work. Each piece is one of a kind.

Prices and payment

All prices are listed in EUR and are final. VAT is not applicable — Ziziphin operates under the small business VAT exemption (Art. 310 Romanian Fiscal Code). Shipping costs are calculated separately and displayed before you confirm your order.

We accept payments via credit card, debit card, and other methods available through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store any payment or personal data on our website.

How to place an order

  1. Browse our products and select the item you wish to purchase
  2. Click the “Buy now” button to be redirected to our secure payment page (Stripe)
  3. Enter your shipping details and payment information on the Stripe checkout page
  4. Review your order and confirm payment
  5. You will receive a confirmation email from Stripe once payment is processed

The contract is concluded when you complete the payment on Stripe’s checkout page. Orders can be placed in English.

Shipping

  • Romania: delivery within 3–5 business days
  • EU: delivery within 7–14 business days
  • International: delivery within 14–21 business days

We currently ship to Romania, EU member states, and selected international destinations. If we cannot ship to your country, we will inform you and issue a full refund.

Shipping times are estimates and may vary. You will receive a tracking number when your order ships.

For deliveries outside the European Union, the recipient may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in our prices or shipping costs.

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Romanian OUG 34/2014, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from the day you receive the goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g., email to [email protected] ). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication before the 14-day period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (if applicable), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is the earliest.

You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you communicate your withdrawal. The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by you.

The goods must be returned in their original condition. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the initial purchase, unless you expressly agree otherwise.

Order cancellation

You may cancel your order at any time before it has been shipped. After shipping, your right of withdrawal (14 days from receipt) applies as described above.

Liability

We are liable under applicable Romanian and EU law for defects in our products. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to a purchase shall not exceed the price paid for the product in question, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

We are not liable for delays or failures in delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to postal service delays, natural disasters, or government actions.

All products come with a minimum 2-year legal guarantee of conformity in accordance with EU Directive 2019/771 and Romanian law. If a product is not in conformity with the contract, you are entitled to remedies including repair, replacement, price reduction, or termination of the contract, as provided by law.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, photographs, designs, and the Ziziphin brand name, is owned by Ziziphin and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
